November 2015
It’s time to pre-order your local Christmas Turkeys! This year we have medium & large free range turkeys from Ireland Farms as well as locally raised small free run turkeys too. Pre-orders do require a deposit and must be done in store – so make sure you check out the sights (and incredible smells) of our local Christmas tree forest while you’re here!

WE LOVE¬†LOCAL KIWIS! Did you know that kiwi is one of the most nutrient dense fruits in the world!? A two-piece serving of kiwi has twice the vitamin C as orange, as much potassium as a banana and as much fiber as a serving of bran cereal – all for about 100 calories. It’s also a good source of magnesium, a low-fat source of vitamin E…. oh yeah, and they’re delicious!

Locally Grown KIWIS are fresh in store & DIRT CHEAP THIS WEEK!

We are looking for some temporary holiday seasonal help to spread a little joy in our local Christmas tree forest. While nursery or floral experience is preferred, we are looking for folks with warm hearts and strong hands who are ready to work outside. Please apply in person with resume at The Potting Shed at The Root Cellar, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Thanks – We can’t wait to meet you!
